Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property management experience

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within established financial and operational guidelines
• Conduct daily physical inspections and coordinate with maintenance
• Supervise onsite staff, including scheduling and performance management
• Interview, hire, train, and oversee property employees
• Meet leasing objectives with effective sales and leasing techniques
• Address and resolve resident requests or concerns
• Manage administrative reporting and recordkeeping
• Develop resident retention initiatives and community activities
• Develop and oversee marketing and advertising strategies
• Investigate and report incidents involving residents or staff
• Oversee rent collection and ensure accurate payment records
• Maintain property payroll and perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at a studio living property in Albuquerque. The Property Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, supervise onsite staff, and manage property resources to achieve established financial and operational goals.

The ideal candidate is an experienced property management professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills who can effectively manage property operations while maintaining positive relationships with residents, employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within established financial and operational guidelines
• Conduct daily physical inspections of the property and coordinate with the maintenance team to address property needs
• Supervise onsite staff, including scheduling, delegation of duties, performance management, and conflict resolution
• Interview, hire, train, and oversee property employees
• Meet leasing objectives by ensuring effective sales and leasing techniques are utilized, including first-hand leasing
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion when addressing and resolving resident requests or concerns
• Manage administrative responsibilities, including required reporting and recordkeeping
• Develop and maintain resident retention initiatives, such as resident referral programs, newsletters, and community activities
• Develop and oversee marketing and advertising strategies for the property
• Investigate and report incidents involving residents, employees, vendors, or others on the property
• Oversee rent collection and ensure accurate payment records
• Maintain and process property payroll as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
