Job summary

Mission Rock Residential, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support day-to-day property management tasks at our Albuquerque property. You will engage with residents, explain lease policies, collect rents, and assist with move-ins and move-outs.

The role requires 1–2 years of onsite leasing experience, familiarity with Fair Housing laws, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Affordable and senior housing experience is a plus in our people-first environment.

• Maintain the highest level of customer service and online presence to obtain satisfactory scores on surveys/reviews from residents and prospects.
• Explain policies related to screening qualifications and application criteria, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move-in/move-out procedures to residents.
• Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents about balances, collect delinquent balances, and enforce the lease.
• Tour the community, amenities and vacant apartments with prospects and stay current on apartment specs, vacancies, notices, and rental rates.

What You’ll Do

Under the direction of the Property Manager, this role assists in maintaining compliance and the successful day‑to‑day operations in all aspects of property management. This role requires regular communication with residents to ensure on‑time rent payment and adherence to lease agreements.

Your Day‑to‑Day May Include

• Maintain the highest level of customer service and online presence to obtain satisfactory scores on surveys/reviews from residents and prospects.
• Responsible for having a thorough understanding of policies related to screening qualifications and application criteria, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move‑in/move‑out procedures and be able to explain these items to existing and prospective residents.
• Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid and/or late fees owed, communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances, implement procedures for collecting on delinquent balances, and enforce the lease.
• Tour community, amenities and vacant apartments with prospects and have current knowledge of apartment specifications, vacancies, notices, and rental rates.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 1-2 years onsite as a Leasing Consultant required.
• Experience in affordable and senior housing preferred.
• Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite—including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Thorough understanding and application of Fair Housing laws.

Salary Description

The expected compensation range for this position is $23 – $25/hour, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
