Job summary

Stoneybrook Golf & Country Club is seeking a full-time Property Management Technician for maintaining landscapes and preparing club facilities. Responsibilities include landscape maintenance, project participation related to stormwater systems, and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid Florida Drivers’ License with a good driving record.
• One year of commercial landscape experience in Florida.
• Ability to operate small and large equipment.
• Basic irrigation repair knowledge.
• Current FDAC Applicators License required within 12 months.
• Bilingual with at least working Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscapes and prepare club facilities.
• Participate in projects related to the stormwater system.
• Work outside in varied weather conditions.
• Lift up to 50lbs and operate herbicides and pesticides.

Job description

Stoneybrook Golf & Country Club is looking to fill an opening for property management technician. This is a full-time position working in various areas of our golf and recreational community. Activities include landscape maintenance and occasional installations, daily preparations and maintenance of our club house, tennis, pool, and fitness center facilities. Work can also include projects related to our extensive stormwater system, including wetlands, preserves, and retention ponds. Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance and occasional installations; assist with daily preparations and maintenance of the club house, tennis, pool, and fitness center facilities; participate in projects related to the stormwater system, including wetlands, preserves, and retention ponds.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Have valid Florida Drivers’ License, good driving record.
• One year of commercial landscape experience in Florida required.
• One year of experience with small equipment (i.e., chainsaw, sprayer, basic lawn tools).
• Experience with large equipment preferred (i.e., front-end loader, skid steer, high lift).
• Basic irrigation repair knowledge up to 4’ diameter preferred.
• Certification in any FNGLA category is a big plus.
• Current FDAC Applicators License or the ability to obtain within 12 months of employment required.
• Bilingual with at least working Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Able to work outside during varied weather conditions.
• Able to perform typical physical work (i.e., bending, stooping, climbing ladders, lift 50lbs).
• Be willing to apply herbicides and pesticides under supervision.
• Work a couple of hours on weekend mornings, on a rotating schedule with other employees.
