Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in San Mateo, CA seeks an Associate Property Manager to manage financial activities and drive client satisfaction. This role is part of the Property Management function, responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

You will perform budgets, monthly reports, vendor invoicing, and accounts receivable tasks, while monitoring EBITDA and other metrics to identify profitability opportunities. Strong Excel and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform, coordinate, and supervise various regional, client account, and department administrative, process improvement, and financial functions.
• Act as a liaison between the field management staff, client accounting services, and management.
• Oversee the preparation of budgets, monthly reports, and financial projects. Manage the coding and processing of vendor invoices, billing, expense reports, and accounts receivables.
• Review and monitor data reports including Accounts Receivable, Income, EBITDA, pipeline, and other business metrics. Evaluate income and expense trends to identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Schedule internal compliance reviews. Report review outcomes and work with management to improve operation compliance.
• Point of contact to provide customer service support to internal and external clients for complex inquiries and questions.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
