Job summary

Milhaus is an award-winning, mixed-use development, construction, and property management company. The Property Manager oversees multi-family communities, focusing on marketing, budgeting, financial management, and staff supervision to meet financial targets and ownership objectives.

Responsibilities include optimizing revenues, controlling expenses, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining property standards, and driving resident satisfaction across Milhaus properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible property management experience for 200+ units.
• High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable private transportation.
• CAM designation a plus.
• Experience in budgeting, revenue enhancement, and expense control.
• Strong personnel management skills, including hiring and training.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit annual property budget for review by September 30.
• Monitor budget to meet or exceed budgeted NOI.
• Develop systems to maximize revenue and control operating expenses.
• Review financial performance and monthly variance reports.
• Oversee marketing plan to maximize occupancy and approve leases.
• Supervise maintenance, inspections, and capital projects.
• Administer staff performance and training; ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure records, reports, and compliance with laws and regulations.
