Job summary

Paths is a full-scale, vertically integrated affordable housing developer, builder, and operator. The Assistant Property Manager will interact with tenants, handling collections, lease administration, and complaints, while ensuring proper maintenance through coordination with staff.

Two years of Property Management experience, including Section 8, and MS Office proficiency are required. This role is based in Lewisville, TX, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within Paths.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Property Management, including Section 8 experience.
• Familiarity with affordable housing.
• Experience managing maintenance staff is a plus.
• Understanding of annual certification requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience working with unions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily arrears collections and follow-ups.
• Oversee move-in and move-out processes.
• Inspect units before move-ins and after move-outs.
• Coordinate with maintenance on work orders.
• Assist with annual unit inspections for Tax Credit compliance.
• Ensure on-time collection of annual resident certifications.
• Process new move-in packages.
• Prepare Section 8 packages for supervisor review.
