Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Make Ready Technician in Charleston to prepare vacant homes for new residents. You will inspect, repair, and ready homes for leasing while balancing speed and quality.

You’ll work independently at multiple properties, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and company standards. This role offers growth within a Brookfield-backed portfolio and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of residential repair tasks and tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic-intermediate written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to problem-solve residential related repairs.
• Ability to efficiently utilize technology on mobile devices and software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial move-out inspections and identify repair needs.
• Assist with punch walks and final readiness tasks for leasing.
• Install/repair door hardware, smoke/CO detectors, lighting, and basic fixtures.
• Complete minor drywall patches and interior touch-ups as required.
• Record findings and update status in company systems with photos and notes.
