Job summary

The Bainbridge Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee daily property operations and maintain the asset under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Duties include troubleshooting, repairs, and ensuring safety standards, with overtime possible as needed.

Responsibilities focus on responding to service requests, managing supplies, and maintaining curb appeal to renew and attract leases while providing excellent resident service and teamwork with vendors

Qualifications

• Must maintain personal skill level through training programs.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and diagrams.
• Experience with maintenance tasks in property management or related trades is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in technical training programs to maintain personal skill level.
• Organize, prioritize and ensure service requests and repairs are made correctly and in timely manner.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to minimize liability and ensure curb appeal.
• Assist with turnkey operations if needed.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies at appropriate levels.
• Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Help the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure staff is motivated and functions as an effective team.
• Maintain a superior customer service relationship with residents, co-workers, vendors, and the community.
