Job summary

InTown Suites in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to perform daily upkeep of the hotel property and equipment, including preventive maintenance and emergency responses. You must live on-site during employment and may also serve as the Property Attendant one to two days weekly as directed by the General Manager/Regional Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak, write and understand English.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and general maintenance.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, clean walkways and debris-free areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel property and equipment.
• Repair walls, appliances, furniture, carpet and cabinets in vacant rooms.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Live on property during employment and be on call for emergencies.
• Serve as Property Attendant one or two days weekly as directed.
