Apartment Management Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep property buildings and grounds in top condition. You will perform daily repairs, prepare vacant units for occupancy, and maintain tools and supplies while adhering to safety standards.

On-call availability and prompt response to service requests are required. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, with a focus on resident satisfaction and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• Experience operating hand and power tools in property maintenance settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for resident interaction.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems is preferred.
• Experience in property maintenance or handyman work.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property and preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; ensure tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and property uniform.
• Operate in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available for on-call maintenance coverage.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Handle lock-outs from evictions and provide 24-hour service response.
