Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of property buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include daily repair work, vacancy prep, inventory, and safety compliance. On-call availability and punctual maintenance are required to ensure quality living environments for residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of the property and vacant units pre-occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Maintain professional uniform and appearance.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure the maintenance shops at end of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle all lock-outs after evictions and provide 24-hour response.
