Job summary

S2 Residential in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service residents and keep common areas and units in excellent condition. You’ll handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general repairs with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualified candidates will hold HVAC Type II or Universal EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. On-site work with rotation and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Must have HVAC certification (Type II or Universal EPA).
• Valid driver license and auto liability insurance required.
• Must have reliable transportation and willingness to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests for common areas and units; repairs include lightbulbs, plumbing, fixtures, doors, and painting.
• Inspect appliances, A/C systems, toilets, lights, and safety devices; perform routine HVAC maintenance.
• Repair or replace defective parts, troubleshoot electrical issues, and service HVAC equipment.
• Perform carpentry, painting, floor tile installation and other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist with trash outs, unit turns, and landscaping duties.
