Job summary

APG is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Pelican Landing Apartments in Gulfport, MS. This role supports property operations, responds to service requests, and helps maintain resident satisfaction through timely repairs and preventive maintenance.

You will participate in the on-call rotation, coordinate with residents, and perform make-ready tasks. A strong work ethic, basic technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances are important, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Special training in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or Appliance Repair preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Diplomatic when dealing with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests within 24 hours.
• Participate in on-call maintenance rotation.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Conduct make-ready maintenance.
• Assist with other duties as needed by management.
