Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in San Diego, CA to maintain building systems and safe, clean living spaces. The role includes completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and making-ready vacant apartments for leasing, with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property maintenance experience required.
• Plumbing, HVAC and appliance repair experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge required; turnover experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Maintains inventory by tracking supplies and notifying supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents work orders and completes paperwork for tracking.
• Assists in grounds, common areas, and amenity upkeep including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by using parts and materials efficiently and safely.
