Job summary

Kushner in Southaven, MS is seeking a driven Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. You’ll handle a range of repairs from plumbing to electrical, complete make-readies for new residents, and perform preventative maintenance.

With 1–3 years of maintenance experience, you’ll work with the property management team, respond to on-call emergencies, and contribute to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance, handyman work, or related field.
• Certifications are a plus, driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of repairs, from plumbing and electrical work to HVAC and appliance maintenance.
• Complete make-readies for incoming residents.
• Paint, carpentry, and general upkeep to keep the property appealing.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep systems in top shape.
• Collaborate with the property management team to plan larger projects.
