Job summary

Avanti Residential in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a Service Technician to keep the 500 Ocean community in excellent condition. You will prepare units for move-ins, perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other repairs, inspect units, update logs, and respond to after-hours emergencies.

The role requires 1+ years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred certifications. We offer premium pay for after-hours work, bonuses, apartment discounts, tuition reimbursement, generous PTO,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• CAMT certification preferred but not required.
• CPO certification preferred where applicable.
• Written; verbal; and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance required.
• Wonderlic pre-employment assessment required if minimum qualifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Aware of the condition of the property and report safety concerns to management.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed and report emergencies promptly.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
• Complete grounds cleanup and light landscaping when possible.
