Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical integrity and appearance of our multifamily properties in the Philadelphia area. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to resident requests, and support efficient property operation.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs, as well as inspecting units, coordinating contractors, and maintaining common areas with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly using a work order system and complete repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure efficient and safe operation of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by inspections, punch lists, scheduling, repairs, and quality checks.
