Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical integrity and appearance of our multifamily properties. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to resident service requests, and support safe, efficient operations across buildings and amenities.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, unit prep for new residents, and supervising vendor work as needed. On-call availability and a valid driver's license are required to meet property needs.

Qualifications

• One-year prior experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and track repairs using a work order system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation of property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents with inspections, punch lists, and contractor coordination.
• Maintain amenity areas through cleaning, trash removal, and minor painting.
• Inspect work by vendors or contractors for quality and scope compliance.
