Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Technician I to maintain the physical condition and appearance of a defined community, performing routine maintenance, painting, cleaning and janitorial, and groundskeeping. The role requires hands-on work and adherence to safety standards, addressing service requests promptly and delivering quality service.

You will work under the Service Manager and Community Manager, with daily tasks assigned based on skills, career goals, and site needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintenance duties experience helpful.
• Multi-family maintenance experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community condition and appearance per safety standards
• Perform general duties, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and groundskeeping
• Keep buildings and common areas clean of debris
• Maintenance in vacant units
• Painting in vacant homes
• Handle service requests in occupied units
• Complete routine repairs across trades as needed
• Replace light bulbs in common areas
• Pressure wash buildings/parking areas
• Inspect grounds/buildings for safety and maintenance
• Respond to resident requests with excellent service
• Promote safe work practices on-site
• Ensure compliance with laws and Fair Housing
• Perform other duties as assigned
