EMBREY in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Property Management team. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to keep buildings safe, functional and in good condition.

The role includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, responding to requests and emergencies, maintaining records, and assisting with renovations. A high school diploma and experience in facilities are preferred; a valid driver's license if travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Experience in building maintenance, facilities or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and work orders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license if travel between sites is required.
• Attention to detail and time management; safety conscious.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures and appliances.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and assist with janitorial duties if needed.
• Keep records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs.
• Assist with renovations, installations or furniture assembly.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements as needed.
