Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across buildings and facilities in the Westerly/Littleton area. The technician will ensure safety, functionality, and adherence to codes while supporting renovations and equipment upgrades.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with hands-on maintenance experience and strong troubleshooting. A valid driver's license and a team-oriented mindset are valued as part of our dynamic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical/vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and work orders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina for lifting and working in tight spaces.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on building systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures and appliances.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and assist with janitorial tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and company policies.
• Keep records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist with renovations, installations or furniture assembly.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements as needed.
• Collaborate with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs.
