Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Contour at NoDa in Charlotte, NC. The role involves routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to keep buildings safe and functional, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Experience in building maintenance and basic HVAC/plumbing knowledge are required, with strong troubleshooting and safety awareness. The position is full-time, hourly, with competitive pay and benefits including healthcare and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures and appliances.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, including janitorial duties when needed.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist with building renovations, installations or furniture assembly.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary.
• Collaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
