Job summary

MetroPlains Management seeks a Property Maintenance Technician to handle residential work orders across properties in Minneapolis. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs, and help with property upkeep and improvements. Must own tools, have a valid license, and be willing to work extended hours and on-call shifts.

Competitive hourly pay between $24.00 and $28.00, plus full-time benefits and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education is required.
• Experience with HVAC, EPA Universal, boilers license or pool certification preferred.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks across trades and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests for maintenance, including heating, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
• Ensure work is performed professionally, safely, and on schedule.
• Contribute to property improvements and participate in site meetings.
• Maintain building exteriors and grounds; report maintenance needs.
• Work with safety equipment and participate in ongoing training.
