Job summary

MetroPlains Management, LLC is seeking a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to help keep our residential communities safe, clean, and well maintained. This role offers hands-on repair work, variety in daily tasks, and a collaborative team environment that supports residents and communities.

The position involves completing maintenance requests for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep, with opportunities to participate in on-call shifts during evenings and

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, repair, construction, or related hands-on experience.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow procedures.
• Good communication skills and a respectful, service-focused approach.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current vehicle insurance.
• Ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
• HVAC, EPA Universal, boiler, or pool maintenance experience/certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and general property repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair items related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, painting, flooring, and building upkeep.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and attractive buildings and grounds.
• Support repair, construction, and improvement projects as needed.
• Participate in rotating on-call evenings and weekends.
