Job summary

MetroPlains Management, LLC is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to perform on-site tasks at Artspace Northrup King in Minneapolis, MN. The role covers heating, cooling, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and related maintenance duties across residential properties.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent with related experience and training; HVAC/EPA Universal knowledge and boiler or pool certs are a plus.

• (High School diploma or equivalent education with one to two years’ related experience and/or training preferred)
• (Experience preferred in HVAC, EPA Universal, Boilers License and/or Pool Certification)

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties in areas such as heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and other general repairs, recommending replacement or repair as necessary.
• Ensure all work is completed professionally and cleanly.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of construction and repair projects.
• Provide ongoing input on property improvements for budget consideration.
• Participate in site meetings as needed.
• Maintain the attractive internal and external appearance of all buildings and grounds, including debris and weed removal, and reporting maintenance needs.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain required knowledge and skills.
