Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a maintenance technician for a beautiful housing complex with diverse residents. The role includes apartment maintenance, turns, basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and grounds safety.

You will perform preventative maintenance, ensure safety, and assist with after-hours emergencies. A valid driver’s license and EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification (preferred) are requested, with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate within a team or work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Must have or be able to obtain EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Apartment maintenance and turns: complete service requests in occupied units and prepare vacants for leasing, including cleaning and debris removal.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks and repair appliances as needed.
• Carry out carpentry and painting such as drywall, doors, trim, cabinets, countertops, tile, and window glass.
• Maintain common areas and exterior lighting, perform grounds duties, and remove ice/snow as necessary.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and manage inventory; report issues to management.
• Support operations with after-hours on-call responses and overtime as required.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, vendors, and residents.
