Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service apartment communities on-site in Kansas City, MO. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance tasks, while upholding top-tier customer service and curb appeal.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work orders, safety compliance, and timely communication with leadership. Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license and clean record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to residents' satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas to identify maintenance and safety issues.
• Assist with emergencies and after-hours maintenance as needed.
• Promote safety and risk management per regulations.
• Maintain curb appeal and professional interaction with residents.
