Post Road Management seeks a skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team in Reading, PA. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining high-quality living spaces for residents and requires a problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in property maintenance.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• General Carpentry: drywall repairs, cabinet and countertop replacements, finish carpentry, glass and window repairs, lock and door servicing, tile repairs.
• Maintenance & Repairs: electrical, plumbing, appliance troubleshooting, flooring, painting, HVAC (non-licensed).
• Turnover & Project Support: assist with work orders, unit repaints, re-carpeting, apartment turnovers.
• Property Inspections: routine property and apartment inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Emergency Response: rotating after-hours maintenance schedule.
• Preventive Maintenance: scheduled maintenance for safety of property systems.
• Stakeholder Interaction: maintain relationships with residents, vendors, contractors, city officials.
• Work Order Management: track, prioritize, complete work orders with communication.
• Communication: respond to emails and coordinate with property manager.
