Job summary

Allied Residential, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor in keeping our 92-unit property safe, clean, and visually appealing.

You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of apartments, common areas, and amenities, while assisting with contracted projects and property improvements. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
• One year of maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Basic knowledge of building systems, tools and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied weather and environmental conditions.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service to residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Inspect property to identify maintenance needs, determine scope of work, and recommend solutions.
• Assist with contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in adhering to departmental budgets.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Assist with unit turns and preparation for new move-ins.
• Attend and participate in required meetings, safety trainings, and professional development sessions.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
