Job summary

Fairfield Homes, Inc. is seeking a Community Service Technician to help maintain safe, comfortable homes for residents. You’ll handle basic repairs, respond to service requests, and work with a team that values work-life balance and customer service.

With at least one year in property maintenance, you’ll apply plumbing, electrical and general repair skills while keeping safety and curb appeal a priority. This full-time role offers growth opportunities and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of property maintenance or related experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general repairs.
  • Possession of commonly used tools, such as channel locks, plumbing tools, electric drill, drywall knives and mud knives.

  • Perform general repair and maintenance services.
  • Maintain safe conditions and strong curb appeal throughout the property.

Who You Are

You are an experienced Community Service Technician with at least one (1) year of property maintenance or related experience and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Because you interact daily with residents, you take pride in creating a positive experience while maintaining the quality and safety of the community.

You enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and being a part of a team that supports each other and takes pride in their work.

What You Need
  • At least one (1) year of property maintenance or related experience
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general repairs
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Possession of - or ability to acquire - commonly used tools, such as channel locks, plumbing tools, electric drill, drywall knives and mud knives
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in indoor/outdoor environments
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and motor vehicle insurance
