Job summary

Greystar is seeking aProperty Maintenance Technician for our San Jose properties. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and make-ready tasks to ensure safety and quality across units and common areas.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1/II/Universal), and a valid driver’s license. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; benefits include competitive pay and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance or service technician experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish preferred.
• EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1/II/Universal) required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and repairs.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
