Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to support our property operations in Atlanta. You will ensure mechanical systems and equipment run smoothly and that common areas remain clean, safe, and inviting.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, general repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting, and adherence to safety procedures. A CPO certification and pool experience are preferred; weekend hours may apply.

Qualifications

• CPO Certification required or preferred.
• 2-3 years pool experience.
• Strong maintenance skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine walking inspections of floors to identify issues and report them.
• Maintains tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Performs repairs in common areas: drywall, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring.
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while working.
• Assists with moving heavy items as directed by supervisors.
• Performs maintenance replacement and minor repairs not requiring permits.
• Follow safety procedures and learn new equipment safely.
• Other duties as needed.
