Inland Residential Real Estate Services, Inc. in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for Annandale Apartment Homes.

The role covers repairs across apartments and common areas to keep the grounds safe and the living environment welcoming for residents and staff. You will address service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and manage make-ready units while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in property maintenance or related fieldwork.
• HVAC certified and CFC/EPA certification required or willingness to obtain within 45 days.
• Experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Own tools and transportation to pick up parts from vendors.
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and safety compliance.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency.
• Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
• CAMT preferred; willing to obtain CAMT if requested by management.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and navigate roofs.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service and maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate status of service requests to residents and staff.
• Maintain property and grounds, correcting unsafe conditions.
• Keep records of preventive maintenance and expenditures.
• Ensure make-ready repairs and services are completed on schedule.
• Rake, sweep, shovel, and salt property grounds as needed.
• Change locks and keys.
• Travel to pick up replacement parts and supplies from vendors.
