Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in keeping our properties safe, clean, and visually appealing. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of apartment units, common areas, and amenities.

This role also assists with contracted projects, orders supplies, and helps with unit turns while delivering a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and renovations on buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Inspect property to identify maintenance needs and plan scope of work.
• Assist with contracted projects to ensure specs are met.
• Purchase supplies and equipment as directed.
• Support supervision in budgeting and cost control.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Assist with unit turns and move-in readiness.
• Attend safety trainings and professional development.
• Adhere to company policies and safety/compliance requirements.
