Job summary

Sundance Property Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform comprehensive property maintenance across tenant units and common areas. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, basic electrical and plumbing tasks, and collaborating with management to keep facilities in top condition.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2–3 years of building maintenance experience. Work is in-person at properties with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2-3 years of building maintenance experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the Property Manager about maintenance concerns and the status of work orders.
• Maintain the interior and exterior condition and preservation of the property, including cleaning, salting icy areas, and related duties.
• Assist Project Manager in contracting vendors and taking bids for special projects.
• Paint, clean, and repair vacant units promptly and to a high standard.
• Use hand and power tools and testing devices as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints and manuals; determine corrective actions.
• Ensure maintenance parts and supplies are stocked and available.
• Assemble, install, and repair wiring, plumbing, and machinery as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
