Responsibilities

• Support Maintenance Operations: assist Maintenance Manager in overseeing daily maintenance tasks, scheduling, delegating work orders, and ensuring timely completion.
• Team Leadership: help supervise maintenance team, provide direction, training, and support to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Preventive Maintenance: assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to prolong building systems' life.
• Unit Turnovers: coordinate preparation of vacant units for new residents, ensuring repairs, cleaning, and inspections meet standards.
• Quality Assurance: conduct regular inspections and ensure maintenance tasks meet high standards.
• Safety and Compliance: ensure compliance with regulations including OSHA; promote safe working environment.
• Vendor Management: collaborate with external vendors to ensure work is done on time and within budget.
• Emergency Response: assist in managing after-hours emergencies for rapid resolution.
• Inventory and Budget Management: help manage maintenance supplies inventory and budgets.
• Resident Relations: address maintenance concerns and act as contact when Maintenance Manager unavailable.
• Documentation: maintain records of maintenance work, schedules, and equipment logs.
