JJN Properties Ltd is seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations across multiple residential properties in Central NY. You will supervise staff, perform hands‑on repairs, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring safety and compliance.

This hands‑on leadership role rewards proactive problem‑solving and team collaboration. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in maintenance or facilities management, strong communication, and a proven ability to manage work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property maintenance or facilities management.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance logs, and basic blueprints.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑first, solution‑oriented attitude.
• Experience with AppFolio is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations across residential properties in Onondaga, Oneida and Oswego counties.
• Inspect properties regularly to identify and address repair, safety, and maintenance needs.
• Assign and oversee work orders, ensuring timely and quality completion by maintenance staff.
• Perform and assist with hands‑on repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
• Manage relationships with outside vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; coordinate purchasing as needed.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to handle urgent matters outside of business hours.
