Job summary

Landmark Properties in Columbia, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our community maintenance program and preserve asset value. You will handle interior and exterior upkeep, respond to service requests, and work with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of repair experience, strong communication skills, OSHA awareness, and a willingness to be on call for emergencies. HVAC certification is a plus and computer literacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment.
• Assist with maintenance operations and repairs of the property.
• Assist with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Report time and attendance.
• Make daily inspections of the community.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Report service requests and assist with turnovers and emergencies.
