Job summary

Edgewood Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for its multi-family portfolio headquartered in Piscataway, NJ. The role handles service requests, purchase orders, and vendor coordination to keep properties well-maintained.

The position requires 1–3 years in multi-family/property management, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Real Page, MS Office, and related tools. On-site work with competitive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED), Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of multi‑family or related property management experience or equivalent experience in retail or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter, track, and close service requests.
• Enter POs, schedule turns and vendors, upload acknowledgements.
• Maintain property asset logs in Real Page and update assets.
• Prepare quotes and issue purchase orders for supplies and materials.
• Support preventive maintenance and project management, prepare resident communications.
• Manage vendor contracts and day-to-day on-site vendors.
• Update maintenance logs (carpet, hot water tank, extermination).
• Process orders and invoices; monitor aging orders and payments.
• Ensure compliance with EP policies, Fair Housing laws.
• Complete weekly Maintenance Alerts reports and on-boarding in Grace Hill.
