Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to coordinate with the Community Manager to safely maintain the property's interior and exterior, aiming to improve net operating income within budget. The role supports resident satisfaction through prompt, safe repairs and reliable maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate will supervise technicians, manage bids and purchase orders, and ensure OSHA compliance while mentoring the team for ongoing skills development and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience.
• EPA certification required.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure proper maintenance of the property and grounds.
• Maintain the property's operating budget and secure competitive bids for supplies and services.
• Process purchase orders and invoices to control costs.
• Review and prioritize work orders for timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee safety, OSHA compliance, and conduct regular property inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Mentor and train maintenance staff to improve skills.
