Job summary

Mission Rock Residential is seeking a Service Manager (Maintenance) to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at the Rio Rancho property. You will ensure the physical standards meet company and legal requirements and lead the maintenance team to deliver reliable service.

The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more, daily property inspections, and on-call emergency response. Housing discount and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal fair housing laws and applicable local housing provisions.
• Ability to work within budgetary guidelines.
• Knowledge of general property repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance at the property.
• Coordinate the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property.
• Direct and supervise daily maintenance team activities and schedules.
• Train and coach maintenance team members.
• Diagnose problems, complete repairs, and conduct general maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, pool).
• Perform daily property inspections and maintain cleanliness with the team.
• Manage vendor/contractor relationships and quality control.
• Complete unit turns, painting, drywall, and common wear-and-tear items.
• Respond to after-hours on-call emergencies on a rotation basis.
