Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Service Manager to lead the maintenance team at our Birmingham community. This hands-on supervisor ensures the property stays in top condition and that resident services are delivered with quality and timeliness.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with outside contractors, maintain permits, and manage budgets while ensuring safety and high standards of service across all units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of residential maintenance experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance activities for the community and maintenance staff.
• Inspect vacant units during and after make-ready; coordinate work orders.
• Monitor permits (pool, elevator) and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage maintenance budget and supplies; participate in budget process.
