Job summary

Carleton Living is seeking an Assistant Service Manager for Pine Club, a 232-unit property in Beaumont, TX. The role oversees maintenance and coordinates repairs, ensuring safety and efficiency across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep.

You'll respond to work orders, manage vacant unit turnover, and support the Service Manager with on-call duties and preventive maintenance to preserve curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• EPA Type II Certification (HVAC) required.
• 3 years of multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Must be willing to perform janitorial and custodial tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Report problems in units or on the property to the Community Manager.
• Maintain grounds and common areas to keep them neat and debris-free.
• Assist with curb appeal and model unit detailing.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders.
• Maintain and analyze work orders for patterns.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks as needed.
• Assist with vacant unit turnover within 3 business days.
• Manage lock changes for vacant units and key issues.
• Be on-call 7 days rotating with pager response within 10 minutes.
