Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Manager Property Insurance to lead and coordinate our property insurance programs, renewals, and claims activities across multiple sites. The role requires close collaboration with Risk Management, Real Estate, Operations, Legal, Finance, and external brokers and carriers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in property insurance or risk management, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with policy management tools and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in property insurance, risk management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property insurance concepts and claims processes.
• Experience with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day administration of property insurance programs, including policy tracking and renewals.
• Coordinate with brokers and carriers on underwriting submissions and loss runs.
• Maintain schedules of insured locations, values, coverage, and endorsements.
• Review policies, binders, endorsements, certificates for accuracy.
• Coordinate claims activity and maintain loss run communications.
• Support risk management through data analysis and reporting to inform renewals.
