Job summary

Marsh & McLennan Agency in Dallas is seeking a Property Placement Consultant to lead the insurance placement process for middle-market clients. You will collaborate with the Service Team, review submissions, and negotiate terms to secure best coverage.

This role requires a Texas P&C license or the ability to obtain one, plus several years of experience in business insurance. As a key liaison, you will schedule strategy calls, prepare final proposals, and ensure timely binder completion.

Qualifications

• Licensed Texas P&C or able to obtain license.
• 4–6 years of middle market Business Insurance experience.
• Ability to multi-task with minimal direction.
• Proficient with Sagitta, EPIC, Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Service Team to ensure processes are completed.
• Oversee and manage the process for new business and renewals.
• Serve as the primary contact with the Service Team during placement.
• Review submissions to insure accuracy and market fit.
• Schedule and conduct strategy calls; submit documentation to markets.
• Negotiate coverage, terms and pricing to meet client needs.
• Review quotes, prepare proposals and bind orders when terms are agreed.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Service Team throughout the process.
• Support market strategy with producers/account managers when needed.
