Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Placement Specialist for the Business Insurance Select team. You will develop new client relationships by providing prompt, knowledgeable service, evaluate New Business referrals for viability, and gather application information while obtaining quotes from markets and moving the proposal through binding coverage.

In a collaborative, fast-paced environment you will need strong attention to detail and a track record of meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• NC Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• 2+ years of relevant sales experience and/or Business Insurance (P&C) industry experience
• Ability to consistently meet annual sales goals
• High School diploma required
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship now or in the future
• College diploma or equivalent work experience in insurance or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships and evaluate New Business referrals for viability
• Gather application information and obtain quotes from insurance markets
• Move proposals through binding coverage with attention to detail
