Job summary

Marsh & McLennan Agency in Texas is seeking a skilled Insurance Placement Associate to coordinate the end-to-end placement process for new and renewal accounts. You will work closely with the Service Team to submit, negotiate, and bind policies while ensuring accurate market submissions and timely communications.

This role requires 4–6 years of middle-market experience, a Texas P&C license or eligibility, and proficiency with Sagitta, ImageRight, Word, Excel, and internet tools.

Qualifications

• Licensed Texas P&C agent or eligible to obtain license.
• 4–6 years of middle market business insurance experience.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize with little direction.
• Proficient with Sagitta, ImageRight, Word, Excel and internet technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Service Team to ensure processes are completed.
• Act as primary contact for Service Team during the placement process.
• Review submissions for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and conduct strategy calls with Service Team/Advisor.
• Submit submissions to the insurance market and follow up.
• Negotiate coverage, terms, and pricing with markets.
• Review quoted exposures, forms, terms, and conditions.
• Provide quote comparisons and final proposals.
• Bind orders and review binder/invoices for accuracy.
• Understand Agency Management System and document the process.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Service Team.
• Attend Insurance Placement Team meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
• Build strong relationships within the insurance market.
