Job summary

The Ascent Apartments in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to join the onsite maintenance team. Responsibilities include cleaning outdoor spaces, trash removal, and assisting with light maintenance tasks to keep the property inviting for residents.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work well both independently and with a team. Prior custodial or maintenance experience is preferred. This is an on-site position at The Ascent Apartments in San Antonio.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas.
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents.
