Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and two years of related experience in property and evidence processing or equivalent.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license and GCIC Terminal Operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Receives, records, and stores evidence and property in compliance with chain of custody rules.
• Tests and evaluates suspected marijuana and prepares reports.
• Maintains chain of custody and secures evidence during transfer, storage, and transport.
• Generates and maintains documentation and reports in the database.
• Assists in court and testifies regarding chain of custody and procedures.
