Qualifications

• High School Graduation or GED equivalent.
• One year of warehouse, stockroom or inventory maintenance experience.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening, polygraph and fingerprinting checks.
• Applicants with felony records are disqualified; misdemeanors evaluated case-by-case.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inventories and stores stolen, lost or confiscated property.
• Processes property for return to rightful owner.
• Records transactions and releases property to government personnel for court proceedings.
• Communicates processes and procedures with the public regarding property involvement.
• Maintains records concerning property transactions within database.
• Issues internal equipment to officers within department.
• Conducts inventories of items kept within facility.
• Operates multiple computer programs and records management systems.
• Records electronic transactions within database through various devices.
